I have deposited old currency in kotak mahindra bank(Kalbadevi mumbai branch) . All note thoroughly checked in machine at my office . ( as I always do). It was done on 5th December 2016 and all currency were well checked. (Bank though made to sign the consent form ). On 13 th jan 2017 1500 Rs debited from same account narrating that they were mutilated note. Note were also checked in bank. No when i ask them there is no Answer. Like mine many people must be suffering with same problem. Since its small amount many people must be letting that go. But I personally feel thats its fraudulent practice from bank by taking advantage of customer and demonitization period. Now been helpless how to tackle this situation
