Lufthansa – Denied Boarding

Reported By: Prashant Gidwani

Contact information:

Prashant Gidwani (+1) and I made the reservations for the flights from Delhi to Berlin leaving on February 7, 2023 (PNR No. 5F88JE).

We had a valid Schengen visa that also covered Germany when we were going there.
Due to your team’s misinterpretations of how to apply for a Schengen visa, the ground staff declined to board us, so we were unable to depart on February 7th (early morning hours).

On the other hand, the other staff members permitted us to board with the same Schengen Visa when we purchased a second Lufthansa airline ticket for the same date (07/02/2023) in the afternoon.

There was no doubt that you misunderstood or erred.

We have experienced harassment and overnight costs that we are not reimbursing, so we are asking for a complete reimbursement of the cost of our trip.
