This is to let you know that Make My Trip would not reimburse the amount I paid for the cancelled ticket.
Details are listed below, and corresponding documents are attached.
For my sister and her daughter, I’ve reserved a flight (Fly Dubai) from Plan my trip.
When they arrived at the airport, the flydubai counter crew refused them because of their ECRI passport, which we were unaware of. The flydubai team also stamped the ticket with a no show stamp and requested that it be cancelled.
I promptly cancelled the ticket and started the refund process before I left for my trip.
After that, they responded by email for the first two days before posting that I had not received a response despite numerous follow-ups, prompting me to file a complaint with the BBB.
When I spoke with Fly Dubai, they were quite explicit in telling me that the agency had cancelled the tickt and that the refund had already been started and sent to the agency (MMT), and they asked me to follow up with them on the amount.
But, my journey will not be the same when I return.
