My bank alerted me to an ‘outside Canada charge’, which charge I had not authorized. I completed a survey and they charged 129.32 for my ‘free’ watch with shipping and handling to be paid. This was late May – early June. Apparently this is a scam – unethical business practices – and other people have fallen for it. It appears that several customers have attempted to get refunds with varying results. These include purchasing something else and the phone being hung up on the calling customer, as well as ignoring any emails. I am hoping that I shall get a refund and trust these people stop preying on senior citizens who have fixed incomes.
