worst travel operators that I came across. They gave us a false pretext of arranging a 3 star (Hotel Chaitanya- Manali) and camping. The hotel wasn’t even registered as a hotel property according to Himachal tourism because it does not have a personal parking lot. It did not even have hot water in all the rooms, in the peak season of December’24. When we asked for a roomkey, the hotel manager first gave us a false claim that the keys have been given to us only. Later himself found that the room cleaning lady took it away. Hotel Chaitanya- makes you feel unwelcomed and rather favors you, despite promising food 2 times a day. They do not serve multiple options either. (Aapko bitha ke khila rahe hain ye bohat badi baat hai).
The tour operator’s guide (lokesh) was a big pain as well. He would run away the moment our tempo would park at any Dhaba, Hotel or a tourism point. He is only interested in his own free individual room, his own free food and then he/she would run away without arranging any amenities. He did not pay any attention to anyone else apart from the 2 girls in the group, because us guys and a Mumbai group of Nurses, were demanding the promised services, for which we paid first. In the end, we asked him/her if we should report about you and pat comes the reply, ‘operator/owner gaya M**ane’. He also took 2 of his favourite girls to a cafe and made 1 of them have questionable stuff (suspected), Malana is known for. She ultimately could not control herself in the Tempo, later while traveling and had to be carried by the coordinator and 1 other nurse from the Mumbai group with us to a toilet.
The camp also had no amenities and the one we stayed at, had been leased to the other one at a slightly higher altitude. Our camp operator would deny every service saying ‘unko lease par diya hai, wahi karenge sabkuch, yahan bonfire nahin hoga, yahan bathroom mat use karna). The toilets are broken and worst in hygiene. Broken mugs, no water or soap, no geyser, dirty wash basins. It feels as if we came to Mumbai’s slums.
The operator duped us big time, with a Fraud deal. Pathik is not for the one who has a decent living standard, it is rather suitable for the lower middle class with inadequate earnings.
