Paytm Mall – damaged product received and paytm not ready to refund

I ordered a faux leather wallet from paytm, on 26 aug 2017. The order number is 3725780006 and the seller is ‘r r impex’ based out of mumbai. The damaged product was delivered on 4 aug 2017. From the same day i have been contacting paytm through emails, but they are not responding. Today i spoke to customer care regarding the issue. The representative told me that he can’t help me to return the order because my profile has been deactivated for returns.
First of all, without informing me, how can they change the status of my account. To highlight here, there is no such policy of number of returns and cancellations. And before flagging my account, they should have atleast informed me. I have been using multiple online websites, but never been stuck in such a bad trap.
I ordered online trusting that the portal has verified and genuine sellers who we can trust on. But they are actually providing sub-standard sellers and just making money on that, selling products which can’t be used and returned as well.
