Paytm – Product not delivered / charging extra

I ordered a DSLR from Paytm costing 30994/- (ORDER NO. 118236146026 Aug ’15 10:49 am) I used HDFC bank credit card EMI option to pay the amount.

I kept tracking the product on E-COM courier. Yesterday, they informed that Paytm has cancelled the order and they didnt know the reason. I called Paytm. Their rep didnt even know that the order has been cancelled and product is going back to the seller.

This was frustrating. Today morning, Paytm informed that product order was cancelled and money has been refunded) and I will not get it. I will have to place the order again. Still, they didnt give me a reason of cancellation.

Now, I am stuck. Since I used EMI option to pay, HDFC bank is still charging me rate of interest. Second, I never received the product and now its costing 500 extra.

I spoke with Paytm. They kept saying that I will have to reorder and they cant help in any way. Also, if HDFC is charing rate of interest, its between me and bank. They are not bothered.

I am surprised with the kind of service they have given and on top of that, they are not ready to understand customer’s problem.

I will appreciate if some legal action can be taken against Paytm and help me here in this case.
