I was travelling back from Udaipur to Mumbai. My PNR is KDYM8K. I had checked in my new bag at the counter. After more than an hour post my security checking was done.. I was called by the staff saying my baggage has come back from the belt as it was checked in with a complete damaged bag and they forced us to sign a form where its mentioned that we had checked in a damage bag. My question here to the ariline was would they accept a bag which is so badly damaged you can check the pictures attached which were taken at the Mumbai airport by their staff and by me. The bag was damaged by their ground staff. I have been talking to their customer care executives to the nodal officer staff but find them highly unprofessional. The 1st call I was offered Inr 2000 which I refused and asked them to replace my bag. Than I get a email saying I am not eligible for a compensation. After disputing they agreed to pay me Inr 500 and again in my other email which i had told them that what are they trying to do , are they doing some bargaining with me on the compensation amount they offered my Inr 1000. Now in the last conversation and email they have attached some different bag and told me that they cant compensate or replace as the bag color i mentioned and PNR does not match with my complaint. This is so very unprofessional of them. All i have been telling them to replace my bag as its their fault and they need to replace it.
