I have a window AC unit since 10 years, installed at my home. The unit never encountered any sort of problem since the time it has been installed apart from the regular servicing it requires. This year I availed a service from Urban Clap regarding the wet servicing of my window AC unit. The AC worked worked fine for 10 mins post servicing. Then, it didn’t worked at all. I registered a complaint at the customer care of the company having reassured that the technician will revisit at will take appropriate steps for the problem arisen. Once the technician revisited, he first said that it was a PCB problem in the unit. I asked him that this was never an issue with my appliance and I asked for another person working under the same professional that was assigned to me by the company. The Unit started working by then with a never heard before sound/noise. Once he visited and checked the appliance, the notified me about the motor being damaged. In the course of 10 years, my machine never encountered any kind of issue, even though I availed servicing from many different AC repair professionals. Countless problems have occurred since I availed the service from the company “URBAN CLAP”.
I asked the customer service center of the company to insure the damaged appliance, as it was done by one of their professionals. The company is refusing to admit the fault of their professional, and is demanding a charge from the customer(me) for the damaged done by their professional, and is refusing to give any sort of assistance to me.
