I am writing to formally raise a complaint against an institute (referred to as the “academy leader”) that I came to know about through the CosmosFeed platform. I am a working student currently managing both my job and studies, and I was actively searching for a design course to help me upskill. During this search, I came across CosmosFeed, where I found information about an institute that was offering an online platform and learning support for design students. Based on the details provided, I contacted the institute and was encouraged to enroll in their program by making an initial payment. After making the first payment, I was informed that I would also need to pay an additional amount for access to certain software required for the course. Trusting their process and wanting to begin the training, I sent the extra payment. Unfortunately, I ended up mistakenly sending more money than needed. When I brought this to the institute’s attention, they assured me that they would help with the refund process. However, after that, they completely stopped responding to my calls and messages. They have not provided any support, nor have they returned the excess amount. In fact, they have continued to demand additional payments without delivering on their original promises. As a student, this has caused me financial stress and a loss of trust. I believed I was enrolling in a genuine online learning platform, but I now feel misled and taken advantage of. I am requesting immediate action to be taken against this institute, and I would like my money refunded at the earliest. I am happy to provide payment receipts or message records if needed.
