Dear Sirs,
On 12-5-2025 I went to change oil+oil filter for my vehicle. My ADNOC application showing eligible for 10% discount for oil change services. I showed my app. to the service guy and he confirmed there is 10% discount, so proceeded for oil change +filter. At the time of paying he tried to use App. for discount but unfortunately was not accepting any discount! I complaint the problem to the station manager, and after he checked, he came back informing me that there is no discount applicable on the App. because of some problem with App. or system!?! Then he discussed with his colleagues and came back informing me that he was surprised that there was a note mentioning ” Must purchase min AED193 to get the 10% discount” written in a very tiny red line invisible, we both could not see it clearly!! I was forced to pay full amount of AED163 without getting any discount. Why this note of min. AED193 was shown in a very tiny font size almost invisible? Why not shown in a clear font size to understand and accordingly decide whether I will change no or later? 10% of AED163 is AED16.3, looks little amount. But logic is same. Whether 1Dirham o 1,000 Dirhams, Ads on App. must be clear no hidden information. What is the use of subscribing to ADNOC App. if I don’t get the benefit from it?! I lost AED16.3 Dirhams discount, in another way I paid additional AED16.3! It is not my problem if App. has problem or system problem in ADNOC. I kindly request ADNOC to credit the difference of AED16.3 in my App. account because I feel I was wronged with this transaction.
