Airtel – Wrong reporting of data usage in broadband connection

I had broadband plan of 20GB every month earlier and I used to get a message around 20th of every month that my data is consumed and the broadband speed was reduced to 512K bps for the last 10 days. Now I increased my plan to 40 GB every month and still I get the same message around 20th that my data is exhausted and moved to slower speed of 512K. I hardly download any big files and Airtel has been continuosly doing this even I reported last year.
