I rented a royal enfield 350 for a month and during my trip i had an injury which resulted in me leaving the bike with a friend and had to rush to a hospital and when i asked them if it was possible for the company to get the bike for me, they were very rude to my friend asking him for his address when he metioned over and over again that he was going to be busy for a festival…furthermore, after being rude to my friend they asked to deposit 30,000rupees with them for a deposit when they didnt ask for a deposit before, i said i would rather retrieve the bike myself, which i did and on the way back i got a flat back tire and called for their policies and they said that they are willing to pay 50% for the tire cause i had to buy a new one since the popped one was too damaged, i had to spend 1000 to go to another city and spent more than an hour to get the new tire and when i returned the bike the company claimed initally the employee i was talking to was no there and since he was new he didnt know what he was talking about and the manager refused to give me the person’s name and phone number and he and the company wouldnt take any responsibility, furthermore, still, they said i had placed a ‘wrong’ tire on the RE and asked me to replace it with an authentic RE tire and they would pay for half of it, when i asked them what i should have done when my tire popped at Roha and had to go to Nagaon to get the new tire when the RE tire was not available i had to settle for another brand that fit…they didnt give me an answer. They not only lied about giving me 50% for the new tire but tried to ask even more money from me to pay for another RE tire, absolutely unacceptable and the worst service and people i had to deal with hands down in India…be absolutely clear and record all conversations as a precaution.
