Carrefour – A product I ordered online was delivered 1 month later

I ordered a water filter; it was delivered to my home one month later. Since I was ordering it for my mom and I am living abroad, I kept writing the support team via the contact form (please call us or where is the order?) and with the delay reaching weeks long, I wrote them several times, please cancel the order and refund the money. I got no response at all. Also, my mom got no phone calls. What is more ridiculous is that they decided to deliver it one month later, and the delivery agent told my mom, ‘receive it; it is with no money!’ I had already paid for it, so he made her sign.

When we checked the invoice and the order, it was dated one month ago (the date when I placed the order). She called customer service over the phone (since my six requests over the contact form have not been responded to). The call center was totally useless; they told her she could not return or exchange the order since the date on the invoice goes back to 1 month ago!!! And it has no defaults!! She asked how come, and it was just delivered today, the person just said as long as it is fine, we cannot return it… And they delivered it on the same day. We will never buy from Carrefour again; they have the worst customer service, and they often deliver with delays (and now months delays!! with no return option claiming that the date of the invoice goes one month back!)
