Carrefour Dubai – Delivery services and received items

October 19, 2023: online order with Carrefour Dubai. Expected delivery: 12 to 2 PM Oct 20. Received bill at 11:00 AM. Dispatched at 18:00 PM. Received items 19:28 PM (we contacted them many times to receive silly vague answers – not the first time they deliver late). No apology, no explanation. MOST IMPORTANTLY: The groceries we received were smelly – smell of feet to say the least. We had to disinfect them all. The items were not cold – including cold cuts. The bread was dated Oct 19 and was not eatable – old and not tasty. We had to throw it.
Not only the service was VERY BAD, but the health hazard of the items not being stored well and being old or not good is alarming. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE and there is no follow up or way to raise this serious issue of concern. Minimum, we should be compensated for this.
