I am writing about my latest experience with the car that I had rented with Drivezy. To begin with, the car given to us was dirty. In fact, there were cockroaches that we found creeping in the car during our trip. However, the worst experience was because of the faulty brakes. The brakes stopped working on the way and we had to spend hours looking for a service centre for it to get changed. We were supposed to reach our destination – Hampi – by 4 pm but because of these faulty brakes and the hours spent looking for a mechanic and repairing the car, we reached at 9:30 pm. Also we had a near death experience because of the faulty brakes.
We thought that the car won’t give us any trouble anymore but we were proved wrong when on the way back to Bangalore from Hampi the brakes on the right side of the car stopped working again. I am extremely disappointed at the lackadaisical attitude of the company on not checking the condition of the car before giving it out. In fact, once during the drive the side bumper on the car also fell off.
Before changing the brakes, I had called the company and they told me that I need to take the videos and photos of the process which was duly done and shared with them. Then the executive calls me and tells me that the bills are “local” and therefore they won’t be refunding it. We are extremely stressed because of this situation. In fact, when I was dropping the vehicle back I asked the dealers to drive the car and they were surprised that we “even got the vehicle back!”
I demand full refund of the amount considering the near death experience they put us in.
