They took 80,000 in exchange for a 5-year membership and claimed it was fully refundable if we weren’t satisfied, trapping me in Mussoorie with false promises. They assured me there would be no annual maintenance fee when I signed up, and we could cancel the membership whenever we wanted with a full refund. On April 20, 2022, I signed up for a membership with them with a 12-month EMI plan. The website never loads when we attempt to book a trip, and emails never receive a response. We’ve called them, but they haven’t returned our calls.
We recently received a notice for annual maintenance fees, so we tried to contact the people with whom we had membership. Two out of the three members said they had left the company 1.5 years prior, but we had membership exactly 1 year prior, not 1.5 years prior. When we tried to call the landline number listed on their website because one member’s phone said it did not exist, it responded that it was not Evershine’s number and that we should switch it off.
We were called by Miss Namrta to pay annual maintenance fees; after explaining the situation to her, she informed us that we must pay the maintenance fee and that we could only cancel our membership within 45 days. For the past 5 days, we have been attempting to connect with the company without success.
I want my money back that I paid in return. It is a scam business.
