I had bought my round trip airline ticket through Flipkart travel back in June for travel from BLR to IAH (Houston, TX, USA). However, the 2nd leg of my return trip was cancelled by the airline, who notified me of the same. But neither Flipkart nor United Airlines, through whom the ticket was purchased got back to me on the matter. Finally, I reached out to United Airlines after realizing from the airline which cancelled the 2nd leg that the ticket was actually issued by UA and got them to cancel the entire return journey and issue the refund to Flipkart. But it has been 4 weeks now and a week after my travel date and Flipkart has still not sent me my refund for the return journey portion of the ticket.
I used to like Flipkart a lot previoulsy but after this incident, it’s fair to say that they are most inept and inefficient travel agency and don’t have their shit together. Buyer beware! Don’t make your travel plans through them and most certainly, don’t buy your air trip through them, unless you don’t mind getting your itinerary hijacked and no refund check being cut out to you either.
