My father took a Mortgage loan from GE Countrywide Consumer Financial Services Limited on 24th December 2003 and has paid all the dues till 2014. But we have not cancelled the MOD due to lack of knowledge.
Unfortunately we lost all the details pertaining to the loan including Loan account number, original Mod, payment receipt due to Natural calamity Flood, but we paid all our dues and got back all our ORIGINAL LAND DOCUMENTS from MAGMA fincorp on the year 2014.
We would now like to sell our land and when we checked the Encumbrance Certificate we came to know that the loan agreement is not cancelled yet. Since we lost the NOC we were unable to close the MOD document.
Currently we got the copy of the MOD document from the Avadi Registration office (Tiruvallur District, India) attached in this email.
Kindly provide us Loan Account number information and NOC so that we can cancel the Mod document as this would help us to sell the land.
