Go IndiGo airline – Full refund refused

Hi sir/ madam,
I am writing with regard to my recent trip via Go IndiGo airline.

My pnr # q9fc5j.

After a frequent request to Go indigo airline and writing to othe consumer care forum. I have been refunded Rs. 8362 in the form of indigo voucher and 1500 re-funded to Yatra of which Yatra deducted all possible way and all I got was RS.675.

I accepted the offer because they said it’s out of one time gesture.

But later I learned from a friend that if it is a medical issue I should be re-funded the entire amount of Rs. 17, 472 as booked from Yatra.

I showed the staffs that we had medical issue and that my mother is operated few days ago before the journey of which she was requested to rest for 2 months so she needed to return home but our plea was not heard. I have the medical documents of the operation.

It was just a matter of 5 minutes and if they have heard us I wouldn’t have to make my mother return back and wait until I book another flight of Rs. 30000 which was slap on our face financially and health wise.

Please reconsider my request and help me get the rest amount Rs. 7565 which may be lesser as booked from Yatra as cash refund and let the previous voucher as it.

Below is my the full history

We in the airport at 4 am and our flight timing is 5:30am. We entered at 4:30am but entrance queue was long and even in the counter was long queue. So, while waiting and when our turn came its 4:50/55 which wasn’t our fault if the queue was long, then they would have prioritised the 5:30 am flight and while we were in queue why was our rejected and it’s not that we came at 5:00 am and above but while waiting it’s 4:50am. Then they refused to accept our report and then i spoke with the manager but he was such an arrogant, with bad attitude.

There was a girl to goto manipur in different flight but she was way behind us but she got her flight but we were refused, while we went to complain the time was just 4:55am which shows we were in queue for just 5 mins.

Now if they have just let us in rather than creating an issue we wouldn’t be missing even our flights, as the flight will take took in the next 30 mins which they don’t create issue we will be able to board the flight.

Such behaviour from indigo wasn’t expected as i and my family have been travelling to and fro, for ages.

I want a refund for the same as i don’t wana bear a lost because of no support received from the staff and the unconcerned manager, who lied that there only two passenger. They are the main reason for us missing the flight while having us standing.

Since it was just a matter of 5/10mins wait in line an exception should have bren taken up. This the end of me flying with indigo”
