I came to know about Daily Car Cleaning service at home by GOETC app, few months ago and contacted them on their WhatsApp number 8147629951. I wanted to try their service for 1 month first but their representative told me on call & whatsapp that service can be taken for minimum 3 months only. I was initially suspicious about paying them Rs.1800 for 3 months as i did not know about their office in my city and could loose my money . But i wanted to try it so i finally made an online payment of Rs.1700 (Rs.100 discount given by their representative) on 27th Nov,2023 for 3 months daily cleaning of my car at my residence in Jaipur, through a payment link provided by their representative on their Whatsapp Business No. 8147629951.
The representative told to me at that time that the cleaning service will start from 10th Dec’23.
However when nobody turned up at my home on 10th Dec for car cleaning , i sent a message on their whatsapp no. on 10th Dec ,asking about the service not having started. I received the reply that due to some technical issue, the service could not be started on 10th Dec and now the service will start from 20th Dec and as a compensation for delay in service , the service start date will be taken as 01st Jan’24.
But again nobody turned up for car cleaning at my home on 20th Dec so i again sent a message on your whatsapp no. but this time did not received any reply till the date when I am writing this complaint here .
I wrote a mail to their mail id [email protected] on 22nd Dec-23 with my payment details and complaint of the service not starting as promised but just got a reply mail with a ticket no. 2113 but the service still not started till 29th Dec. I wrote a reminder mail on 23rd Dec but again only acknowledgement with the older ticket no. 2113 received. All these mails seem to be automatic replies as no further action was taken by GOETC.
Getting impatient ,I searched for some other contact no. and called on 1800-1234-382 several times since then but nobody picks up the call. I called on another number 080-48214112 , given on their website https:// www.goetc.in/customer-support , but this number is also not answered despite several attemplts by me .
In the end I realised that I have become a victim of a scam and this thought was supported when I searched for GOETC app complaints and found so many other complaints against GOETC by other victims like me .
Wish I had searched about GOETC before making any payment then I would not have been befrauded of my money. But who suspects an app duly available on Google Playstore.
