GoMechanic – poor service

If you love your car, do not give it to GoMechanic.

Prior to starting a job, I paid $100 to book a pain and dent job.

Pickup was supposed to happen at 11 a.m. the following day, but as of 3 p.m. there had been no update.

After finishing the job, I wanted to touch up the small dent at the back left door, but they recommended painting the entire door, so I did.

The following day at 7 PM, the car was delivered. When it was picked up, 7726 km had been traveled; when it was delivered, 7786 km had been traveled.

Once the car was checked, the work was A-ONE level pathetic; there were bubbles and an orange peel effect. The mechanic said that this was to be expected and that we couldn’t provide company level service.

If you love your car, never take it to a mechanic; instead, take it to a nearby workshop or, for the best results, a service center. They made me drive 11 kilometers again to another workshop where they began rubbing and polishing, and the work is still pathetic.
