I paid 1.32 lakhs on December 2022 to accept their package for ten years. In addition to this, they took 1.15 lakhs from my credit card while claiming to offer 0% EMI. At the time of booking, they made numerous verbal promises, but none have been kept up to this point.
tried to highlight some of the scams and ruses they employ to lure people into their traps.
1. They called us based on our car purchase and claimed to be offering gift cards and high tea at a five-star hotel in Bangalore. I have my suspicions about how they obtain the contact information of car buyers; if they do so through car dealers, there would be a privacy violation. They are committing a crime by using the Tata brand to claim a connection to this group.
2. They made false promises while presenting themselves as the most customer-friendly company by stating in their termination policy that there will be a free cancellation within ten days. Past that, they charged a 75% administrative fee of the package cost when I planned to cancel somewhere in February 2023.
3. In January 2023, I requested a trip, and they requested an additional $2,000 for breakfast on top of my $6999 Annual Membership Fee (AMF). Even though I objected, they sent the booking vouchers and included them in my package, even though I didn’t use them.
4. They stated that we can book four trips (5D, 4N package) in a year and that the AMF payment is made once a year at the time of booking. However, they later claim that each booking must include an AMF payment, which is not stated in their terms and conditions.
5. Despite our requests for reservations a month in advance, they will still use the names of all the major hotels when making reservations while offering some 3 star hotels that are removed from popular areas.
6. No one who works in customer service responds to customers appropriately; instead, they always try to come up with some ridiculous justifications and refuse to acknowledge that they are not keeping their promises.
In order to prevent innocent people from falling into their trap and losing their money, kindly assist me in bringing a lawsuit against them. If possible, I can get my money back, and this case ought to be compelling enough to put this business on the blacklist.
