I wanted to try out Green Slim’s weight and inch loss program and underwent a one session trial in November last year. The trial was supposedly for 1 hour but just to make sure they sold the concept they had be in there for almost 2 hours comprising of vibration and oil massage on the abdomen area for 45 mins, hot blanket torture for 45 minutes followed by a steam sauna for 25 minutes. By the end of it all, because of all the sweat, I had lost around 1.2 kgs(mainly water content from the body). I was not really convinced that this would work and did not register. But the people from GSS kept following up and pestering and finally convinced me to join the 5KG loss program. This was to be for 10 sessions for a total cost of Rs. 14K(this was supposedly after a 30% discount). I bargained hard and got the deal down to Rs 12K with two down payments of 6K each. I paid 6K and enrolled in January this year.

The first 4 sessions were all for a duration of 1 hr and 20 mins with each session focusing on vibration massage on the abdomen followed by the hot blanket treatment. The weight initially reduced by about 2Kgs but when I went in for the 5th session, I observed that the weight had gone up again by about a KG…I registered this as a compliant and told them that I was again not convinced that this worked. Not sure in what sense they took this feedback but the 5th session turned out to be hell for me. I was subjected to a very ungainly and torturous hand massage on the abdomen for almost an hour followed by the hot blanket for 30 minutes. The massage was very painful and left me hurting very badly. By the time I left the center and reached home, my abdomen had swollen and I was in severe pain. I was bed-ridden for almost 3 days and took medication for treating the swollen stomach muscles. It took almost 10 days for the pain to complete subside and normalize.

Clear case of duping the customer. I have not visited this center for the remaining sessions as I feel that it is a complete waste of money and atleast in my case had severe side effects. I intend taking them to consumer court to get my money back and seek additional compensation for all the hardships that I underwent!
