I am writing this complaint as a helpless and disappointed consumer of GTPL Broadband services. I had purchased a prepaid one-year broadband plan from GTPL on 28th January 2025, worth ₹5500. My account details are as follows:

Due to a change in residence, I requested a connection shift from Wankaner to Rajkot on 28th April 2025. I informed GTPL customer service of my new locality. They initially told me that feasibility would be checked and installation would follow. I waited patiently, but there was no call, no update. After three days, I contacted them again, and to my shock, they informed me that the area is not feasible for GTPL services—despite the fact that this is a well-developed locality in Rajkot with all amenities.
I reached out to GTPL multiple times via calls and emails, but received no proper response or resolution. I only used the service for around 100 days, and 270 days of my subscription remain unused. I have repeatedly requested a refund for the remaining days, but GTPL has refused to issue it, offering no valid justification for the loss.
I chose GTPL believing it to be a trusted name in Gujarat’s telecom sector. If I had known that the service would be unreliable and support unresponsive, I would never have opted for an annual plan. I now feel cheated and completely helpless. My work has suffered due to their false promises and negligence.
I request the Consumer Forum to kindly take strict action against GTPL Broadband and help me recover the refund for the unused 270 days of service.
Please help me get justice and my rightful refund.
