I was working as a freelance proofreader for the company HOD Consulting Inc., India. In the initial months the salary was provided on time. But last month there was a lot of delay in my salary. I made around 30-40 calls to the company representatives Deepak and Jacob, but all of them remained unanswered. Eventually I got my salary but 4000 INR was deducted and no strong reasons were given. Since last month they started acting strange by not providing the salary on time, not responding to my queries on a timely manner and behaving rudely. All of a sudden I was told that they don’t want to work with me anymore and when I asked about my pay for the amount of work I finished, they stopped responding to my emails. They don’t have any official website also. All I have is their phone numbers and email id: [email protected]. Guys, there are a lot of job openings posted by the person Deepak, my advice would be to not to go ahead and work with those cheaters as they will take the work from you and won’t pay in the end. Please beware.
