Indigo Airlines – Not letting us inside the Gate even when we were ontime

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring your attention that we have recently travelled with Indigo Air on 17/10/2017 and we had complete disaster, disgusting service from their customer service at Gate Area. Our flight details are as follows,
1) Ranganath Guptha S R – Booking Reference number – SIDLQX
2) Gita Thapa – Booking Reference Number – SIDLQX
3) Sravani Suddapalli – Booking Reference number – SIDLQX

The details are as below,

1) First of all we had flight tickets booked from Bangalore to Pune on 17/10/2017 at 05:25 in the morning. We reached the allocated Gate exactly at “05:00am” when the customer service announced the last final call. When we reached the person named “KUSHAL” said the gates were closed which he did in front of us and advised us to return back instead of helping us even though we were on time, where the boarding pass clearly mentions we should be there by 25 minutes early.

2) Secondly KUSHAL wasted 5-10 minutes of our time speaking arrogantly and arguing with us. Later few other customer helped us and forced him to ring the Flight In charge Team to take us in and they refused due to 10 minutes late, “WHERE AS WE WERE NOT LATE, INSTEAD ON TIME AT THE GATE ENTRY”.

3) Thirdly, “HE ACCUSED US SAYING THAT WE ARE MANIPULATING THE TIME AND THEN ASKING HIM TO LEAVE US INSIDE”, which was clearly not the case. I believe Airport has plenty of CCTV footage which can be viewed and verified.

4) Later we had to visit Re-accommodation team to arrange tickets for next flight at “09:35am” on the same day with an extra charge of “4884 rupees”.

5) Also what made us really upset that they closed the gate in front of us as well as they did not called/tannoy the customer names on speaker, which is really bad service given by Indigo Airlines team.

Well now I would like to bring you attention some more details of what we noticed in our next flight at 09.35 on Indigo Air.

1) The Gate (gate 2) customer team at this flight were different and they announced the final call and they walked around the gate area calling the names of the missing person, which was not the case in the earlier/our flight Gate Customer Team. They closed the gate at 09:15.

2) Well the new team at Gate 2 let the people coming in through the Gates even after 09:15 which is after the gate was closed.

3) Also we noticed group of 5 or 6 people coming in just 8 minutes before the flight take off, after enquiring come to know that there was an issue with their baggage but they took him in so easily and let them IN, why was is not the same in our earlier flight gate when we were ontime.

4) Because of this our whole day plan has been destroyed with lot of extra charges for the flight (4884 rupees), Taxi cancellation (4000 rupees) and room booking cancellation (600 rupees)

Overall Indigo Air being “DISCRIMINATING THE PEOPLE” based on their individuality mood, but the nature of work has been absolute disgusting. I believe Airport has plenty of CCTV cameras installed, So I would request the management team look into all the CCTV footage.

But unfortunately their customer relation team is not interested or unable to view the CCTV footage and not willing to make any refund of our loss because of their service.
