Indigo – Harrasment and torture caused due to no transparency and delay of flight

2nd may – 6E 615 flight from New Delhi to Kolkata was delayed by 8.5hours.

Flight was scheduled at 20:25 from delhi but due to weather conditions, the airlines kept on delaying the flight by changing the estimated time of departure in intervals and delaying it eavh time with no final time.
Finally when passengers raised their voice, the authority convinced us that aircraft borading will start rightaway and we will be taken to Kolkata soon after boarding.
Passengers were made to board aircraft at 00:45 on 3rd may with an estimated time of departure of 1:20 AM on3rd may. The aircraft didn’t have pilots. There were 2-3 crew members only fro serving. The flight was being refuelled while we were seated inside. There was no sign of departure of flight. The cabing crew kept on getting replaced with another set of temporary crew. The fround staff was not at all providing any information on departure timings. They were saying “just give us 10min sir/maam. The passengers had to sit in the aircraft till 4:30am which was very troublesome and it was very congested. The crew was made to do false announcements saying that they are faving some technical issues but the truth was that the aircraft had no Pilot. Most of passengers were on the runway arguing with the groundstaff about the flight departure. We were up all night, not at all comfortable, haf to sit in the congested aircraft for such a long duration that it gabe us bachache. we had planned our jourbey to reach at our destination on time and get some rest. On calling up the customer care for indigo at 2:25am around, the information they gave is flight will take off at 2:30am. but the flight still didn’t have any pilot and most of the passengers were on the runway. Indigo staff was just stretching time by arguing and not providing details. There was no transparency from their sides. It was a mental trauma caused by them and harassment. At 4:30am pilots and crew boarded the plane. Harassment and torture to all the passengers has crossed limits this time. we demand a refund of the fare and compensation for the mental and physical stress given by them because of mismanagement from their side. We didn’t want refreshments as a compensation for the torture, all we wanted was a pleasant and short journey. i had booked flight tickets to reach home early and get rest as i was travelling from srinagar. Train would have costed me less money and would have definitely been more comfortable.
