Jabong – Wrong product with fake promises

My name is G. S Arun. I am from Thiruvananthapuram. I ordered a jeans from Jabong on the 08th Dec 2017 using Jabong’s app. I received this product on the 12th Dec
Order no : 171208538869655.
Complaint no : 53021690
Product description : Blue washed Slim fit jeans (Joggers) size 30 (amount 882)

Issues: Product is not what I ordered, completely different product with 36 size.

Spoke to customer service and it was informed to me that the product can not be picked up from my place, as their courier service can not pick up the product from my pin code, I have to courier them the product.(self courier)

When I showed them the proof (with the screenshots) stating, in the app they have mentioned about the free delivery and free return and no where mentioned (website or app) that pickup wont be available. Then the team promised for a pick up. Twice they have promised, once my the complaint team, second by the customer service agent . As a promise was provided, they insisted for closing the complaint too.

Then there were no updated from Jabong. Not even a single text message. I followed up with the team again asked to reopen the complaint. Then they request for another 48 hours. Today I receive a call stating it can’t be picked up and they closed the complaint without even informing me.

Customer service ethics went for a toss here.

My question / issues:
1. If the product is mentioned as free delivery and free return, then is it customer’s mistake, if Jabong logistic cant pick the product.
2. While ordering how a customer will know if it is a non pick up area. ( website/app says free delivery and return)
3. Why customer has to take the pain and hard work to courier the product back to them.
4. Why fake promises. (may be to close the complaints)

I don’t want to take the pain to self courier the product to them when its 100 % Jabong mistake . Why a customer should suffer for Jabbing’s incapability and insufficient coordination with their logistics team.

As a proof I have screen shot/ call records and email exchanges with Jabong.
Please take this complaint into consideration and try to help me.

I would like to have the refund, not because its a huge amount.
Reason being that’s is the correct thing to happen.
