dear sir/madam
greetings for the day. myself kavita yadav account holder of kotak mahindra bank. before 2 year i was
open a bank account in kotak mahindra bank and also take a credit card.i used this card few months
without bother any charges which was charged on it. but when i go through the charges, they charged
high amount on it but i paid all bill amounts regularly. on the mean time my husband was hospitalized
in Nepal. and i was also there that time i paid my credit card amount and send a request letter via e-
mail to close the account and also complain on customer care so many times. but they people replied
that, “before closing account you must visit the branch and deposit all the documents and card.” i said
it is not possible because i am in abroad.
my account was not closed by bank and they continuing charges on it regularly. after that this charges
became 2000/- , then some time 15000/- and now this is 32000/- (approx). i complained so many time on
customer care and also area credit card representative to close this chapter and told him that is bad
charges which is charged by bank. but nobody bother this complain. credit card collector daily
unnecessary hares me and use very rough language.
Now, kotak mahindra bank marked lien my account details.
sir/madam, is there any provision for complain in consumer forum. please guide me what type of steps i
can take. Please Help….
