Lakme Salon – Using Expired Products in their Facial Treatments

I am Ankita Srivastava and I had taken an Eminence Facila treatment worths INR 4350/- from Lakme Salon, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur, on 25/3/2019. During the end of the treatment I happened to check the products used and realised to my utter dissappointment that the products read “Use Before Oct 2018”. For a brand like Lakme to engage in such fradulous acts is a metter of utter shame. Whether this was deliberate or an act of sheer negligence i’m not sure, however it is not expected from a brand like Lakme. They are not only cheating their customers but actually playing with their health.

After the entire face-off with the manager in-charge I refused to pay them and asked for either a computerised bill or a hand-written one just as proof, should anything go wrong and I need to take action, however these guys refused me their written consent. I even talked to their area manager named Shefali Pranam, who neither was ready to listen to me nor did she take any immediate action to pacify the situation, infact she refused to speak to me after a single call. It was after a verbal ping-pong that lasted almost 40 min did they give me written “kuccha” bill.

I also filed a complaint against the salon at [email protected], however the company seems not interested in replying, which makes me wonder if this is actually a money making tactic Lakme is so smartly applying.
