I was living in a rented place for 8500 and in the month of september my landlord asked me to vacate the place. They raised the rent to 9000 while the tenure was left. Then they shifted us to a different floor without any prior notice. The new flat is tidy and its bathroom is full of rat shit. They never got it cleaned.
I didn’t want to stay so I told them I will vacate the flat in September itself. However they said you need to give 1 month notice. We were 3 people living in that flat. I informed my lanlord that other 2 want to stay. You talk to them and get the security and do other formalities. Now the landlord is not returning my security. She is saying that we will return it when we will get it from other two people. It has been 2 month now. I have proactively told them to coordinate with the other 2 people. I am the one who paid the security. None of them have paid it. They have their own reasons to not give it. I even told the landlord that you may ask them to vacate the flat to which she agreed. I ven told her that I will file a complaint; to which she said do whatever you want.
I am an educated person, working away from home. I am not able to rent another place due to the security. I am living with my friends and switching from places to places from past 2 months. Please help me as it gets frustrating everyday.
