I am very dissatisfied with Lenskart as my spectacle frame broke and injured me very badly on my nose and forehead (I was lucky enough my eyes were safe).
How it happened:
I was on my way to college on my bike wearing full face helmet(ls2) with spectacles, an accident happened were another motorcycle came and hit my bike where i didn’t even fall on the ground. My helmet hit the opposite bikes handle bar due to that my spectacle frame inside the helmet have broken and cut through the forehead and nose (I did not get any other injury, other than this) I would like to add that when the incident occurred I was travelling in a minimal speed. I will assure you that there is not even a little damage to my helmet.
The prime reason is that the frame broke and the broken edge has hit me and caused injury.If the frame does not take even small impacts, then how can Lenskart sell the product saying as break resistant?
The quality of rims on the spectacles were not good that is why it is broken. It is a case of manufacturing defect…Adhering to your clause on website (FAQ – question 9) Lenskart says it offers 1year warranty in case of any issues and lenskart will resolve the issues.
So, I am seeking justice and compensation from Lenskart.
