Compressor on my LG refrigerator failed in May. I lost $400 dollars worth of food. Had new compressor installed at a cost of $700 including parts and labor. I was told the compressor was guaranteed for 10 years. My fridge was only 5 years old. Since May of 2023 I have been trying to get paid for the compressor. I understand no labor etc is included. I have called numerous times over the last 4 months and been told a dozen different things. The most current one is that LG will send a new compressor to me? What??? What the hell do I need with a new compressor. I have had it replaced. They tell me this is all they will do. Took me 4 MONTHS to get that out of them. I have filed complaints everywhere I can think of including the Secretary of State, State of California as this borders on fraud.
