Magic Holidays – Cheating and harrassment

Hi,
This is case of cheating and mental harassment against Magic Holidays(part of Panoramic Group), I was offered the membership on 02 Mar’14 with payment option of Rs 34000 to be paid in 24 installments, their sales manager(Sumeet Sinha) and his assistant(Nafees Ahmad) took the payment through my credit card and told me that this will be converted into 24 installments in one week, post one week, I was told that their machine is not working so I should contact my bank to get this converted into 24 installments and they will bear the interest charges, my bank also denied, so I requested them to cancel my membership as I could have not afford to make the payment without converting it into 24 installments, there on from 09th Mar’14 my journey of mental trauma started, I kept calling them everyweek for the refund request, I almost made 100 calls to their customer care(Kavita Vakharia was the one who handled this case with least priority) and many at times mentally harassed when they used to just disconnect my calls and never called back, after 70 days they refunded partial amount of 29000Rs and informed me that Rs5000 have been deducted on account of misclleneous charges, I was shocked to hear that the error was made by their own employee and as a customer I am taking the hit of these charges. I would request your support on this. Also if this is going to a common forum, I would request all the readers who are planning to take the membership of this company to just stay away from getting trapped and feeling regretful.

I have also raised my concern to the CEO of this company(Hitesh Kshatriya) but it seems he does not have time for customers.

On 9th Mar’14, I wrote an email to Sumeet Sinha asking him about the conversion of paid amount 34803INR in 24 EMI’s, I got a response from him on 12th Mar’14 that their machine is not working so I should request my bank to convert this into 24 EMI’s and your company will bear the interest charges(email conversation attached)

I called up my bank on 12th Mar’14 for conversion of paid amount into 24 EMI’s but they refused, so I wrote back to Sumeet Sinha on 13th Mar’14 to request for the refund of my amount as I could not afford to pay 34803 in 12 Eif MI’s.

So I raised a request for cancellation of membership and refund.

Now after a rigorous follow up for 70 days, I am shocked to hear that there has been a deduction Rs5000 on account of different charges.

Please help me understand the reason for this deduction as your employee is completely at fault for miscommunication.

Just to let you know that I had got the total paid amount 34803Rs converted into EMI’s so that once I receive the refund from your end, I would make the payment to my bank. I have paid an interest in my bank for 3 months, who will take the accountability of that.

I have gone through a mental trauma during the last few days when your team simply ran away from taking my calls or disconnected my calls,I have made atleast 100 calls to your customer relation department in last 70 days. I should be compensated for this.

Please help me understand the reason for this deduction as your employee is completely at fault for miscommunication.

Let me know in case you are unable to help me on this, I would like to go to higher authorities for justice.

I was advised that a status update will be shared in 7 working days, but no one has responded back on this request, when I called up customer relation, I was told that I will get a call back from Manager but no one has contacted. I am trying to reach out to customer relations number but no one is picking up. I m in urgent need of money, wud appreciate ur urgent attention on this.

We really apologies for the inconvenience caused. Request you to kindly convert your emi by calling your bank whatever the interest occurs we will reverse you back.

We are arranging 1 day outing in Manesar for 2A/2K with food, and you can take stay of 2n3d or 3n4d stay at any of our magic holiday property.

Your other pending voucher are in process it will take time about 40 to 45 day, request you to kindly co operate us.
