I ordered some aquarium decorative items from makemyhobby.com at 11.7.16 and paid Rs.2000.81 by debit card as per their rules because they don’t have cash on delivery facility.Till today the shipment not arrived,even they are not responding or giving any answer from last two weeks.Please help me to recover my money back.They don’t have any customer care number only mail accepted.I send them near about 50 mails but no reply!!My order number is 99325.
After making the payment I wa told that it will take 3 weeks for shipping the product. on 10th Oct they told me that it is cleared for shipping and you will get it in 3 days. When I contacted them again after 10 days I was assured again that i will get it in 3 days. Again I sent them a mail through their website and told them that they are cheating people and not interested in sending the consignment. After 8 days my order was cancelled and they refunded me the amount I had paid through a DD.
When I tried to login to the website next day, I was surprised to find that even my username and password was not working. When I googled about the company I found many people like me who are also duped by this company.
This company is a fraud and their modus operandi is to take money from people against orders and refund the money after two months citing any reason like unavailibilty of the product or something else and keep the interest accrued in the time period.
Please take some strong action against this company which is engaged in cheating innocent people.
