respected sir,
This is with reference to the monkey menace in our locality.
We are residents of shahganj nakhas lucknow 226003( behind nakhas police station) .We are fed up of monkey problem and need a permanent solution for it.The loses are increasing day by day and more and more people are getting affected by it on daily basis.Earlier monkeys would only steal food or destroy it but now they are destroying everything they see.recently they took my purse from my room and destroyed all my documents and valuables in it. They are also destroying mobile phones or anything they get.The monkeys have created a havoc in our locality.We also tried to solve the menace by hiring a langoor about a year ago but it turned out to be a temporary solution as monkeys ran away to the near by area only to come back again once we got rid of langoor.Also i don’t think its a permanent solution because they usually ran away to near by locality and do same with them. There are 30-50 monkeys that lives in our area and we have to guard against them 24*7. They take away the clothes and tear them and if they get a chance to enter the room they open the refrigerators and destroy everything in it and they also creates some more troubles. Even the water tanks are not spared.
This is really scary and unsafe.
Kindly look into the matter as the matter is of paramount significance and needs immediate attention of the concerned authority.
