I had booked a flight to Manchester from Sharjah, which was booked on 22nd June 2025 from your website mytickets.ae
The flight was cancelled by the airline from Sharjah to Doha and I was unable to go on, due to airstrikes at the time happening in the region – specifically Doha.
It has since been well over a month since I requested a refund for the amount I paid for the flight which was AED 2,357, but I still haven’t received any update from your company and it’s always me having to chase your customer service on live chat to try and get an update.
All your company is doing is sending emails which don’t get responded to by the airline and it keeps going back and forth, hence why I still haven’t got any sign of a refund or even a single update about the cancellation.
The company needs to simply call the airline and ask to speak to one of their agents is all I am asking for, emails are not doing anything to speed up the refund process.
I have paid a lot of money for this flight and I’m struggling financially at this moment. This is why I need the funds ASAP.
I have even tried calling the airline myself even but I am unable to do anything as I booked through your company being the travel agency.
I need an answer and a proper update from your company as you are showing no efforts to help and you keep giving me the same basic response of: “ Currently, we are still awaiting a response from the airline. On our end, I will request my colleagues to follow up with them again to expedite the process if possible. As soon as the information is updated, we will send it to you via email.”
This is very frustrating and I need a solution now.
