Respected sir/madam,
Greetings of the day!
I want to bring to your notice regarding apartment booked at omaxe cassia, property number ocif/first/766. We are deeply concerned regarding below issues, i noticed during my recent visit of the furnished apartment and demand your action.
1. Italian marble used for flooring in the living room, isn’t of good quality and have multiple cracks. (Pictures attached). Omaxe is known for its quality projects and this is completely not acceptable as your brand speaks for itself.
• we want the flooring to be redone instead of a temporary fix with some white cement/putty etc.
• alternatively, compensate us so that we can get it done our self with a good quality marble. (Marble cost + labour + debri removal) rs. 2.50 lacs as an estimate.
2. Doors of the apartment are not of the exact fit and have been fixed by adding smaller wooden cuttings. The finish has been absolutely compromised.
• we want new doors to be fixed which is made out of 1 complete board, instead of leftover pieces.
3. Completion of this project has been delayed by 2 years and we haven’t been compensated for the same.
• we need compensation for this delay. We expect compensation of rs 2.50 lacs for the delay of this project.
Please arrange for as per agreement.
4. Stair case as per the plan shared was wider and double staircase was to be used by the properties on both the sides. However property number 767 has not been built and hence we are left with single staircase, which is quite narrow (Almost half), and not as per the plan shared by omaxe, making our property the corner property which wasn’t the case. (Map attached for reference).
Need your attention and quick resolution for the same. We are not taking the possession, till the above issues are resolved and the apartment is handed over in a perfect condition as promised to us by omaxe.

Such like complaints will not be addressed by the builder who shall further give you unreasonable explanations and/also only do the most basic spit and polish work in order to temporarily satisfy you. The best way forward is to file a Consumer Complaint before the Hon’ble State Consumer Commission at Chandigarh or Punjab. The matter wont last more than 4 months and you shall have a legal and binding Order in your hand which the Builder cannot escape. Such cases are fast and convenient.
