Initially contacted via WhatsApp by an unknown user with the message “Hello… Devanshi is my name. I came across your resume on the job board while working as an HR Associate at Omnicom Group. Are you still seeking employment? Following your response, you will be given a quick task, such as “subscribe to a YouTube channel and get 50rs.” They will then request a telegram from their receptionist and follow the instructions.
You will be added to the group where tasks will be assigned by the receptionist. Everything will be fine at first, but then a prepaid task will appear where you must pay 2,000 and receive 2,000 in return. You will receive this (this is done to earn your trust), and then another prepaid group task will appear where you must invest at least 5,000. Your teacher will be in charge of directing your actions. He will send you a UPI ID; all you need to do is play a 5K payment and send screenshots to that. He will provide a link later; it is a cryptosg link.
He asks you to invest and wait for the time to get loaded as your account shows 5000 rupees there. After some time has passed, there will be 6000 in your account on the cryptocurrency page. If you want to back out, he says, “If you are unable to complete your assignment, the merchant will disqualify you from the job and pay 30K with 30% cashback now telling me 100000 with 40% cashback mentioned in screen shot.” Lately, he will give you a second round task where you must invest a minimum of 28K.
Please assist me, sir. I need to retrieve the money I paid—roughly 28000 rupees.
