My Uncle ordered mangoes from this website and did an online payment of around Rs 570. He did not receive the mangoes for two days, so he called at the customer service and asked for a refund. The person shared a google form link and asked to fill in the details. My uncle naively filled in all the details including the pin. As soon as he submitted the form, an amount of Rs. 5000 was deducted from his account. As soon as my uncle saw the message from the bank, he quickly changed the pin.
He again called customer care. The person said that the money will get refunded within 24 hours on the condition that the account pin had not changed. This means he intended to withdraw more money.
My uncle threatened him with FIR and all but he was fearless. They must be a pro at committing such frauds.
