I hope this message finds you in good health. I, Siddhesh Ramhari Aher, am writing to you now to bring to your attention some pressing concerns regarding my conditional admission to Parul University, Vadodara’s Master of Business Administration – Marketing program on November 20, 2023.
On November 27, 2023, I informed Mr. Pawan Padvi, senior admission counselor at Parul University, of my decision to revoke my admission due to unanticipated financial constraints in my family.
He said it’s not possible to get a refund despite my circumstances. I then asked if it would be possible to move my admission to a certificate program.
However, Mr. Pawan Padvi has now stated that neither of the options are practical, despite his repeated assurances to wait three to four days.
I also contacted Prachi, another admission counselor, in an attempt to get clarification.
I have a call recording of her saying that if I cancel within 30 days, I might be eligible for a refund.
I want to underline that I informed everyone that I was going to be withdrawing from the program within six days.
Remarkably, neither the provisional admission letter nor the university’s website mention a cancellation policy.
Furthermore, the provisional admission letter omits important information like the start date of classes and the last day of admission.
The fact that there are a lot of online complaints against Parul University, which suggests a widespread problem, heightens my concern.
Confusion and frustration have increased significantly as a result of my lack of knowledge and the difficulties I am encountering.
Additionally, calls and emails are not being returned, even after several tries.
I desperately need your help to make the following clear:
1. The official cancellation policy of the university, particularly in light of the early stage of my request.
2. Other options, as previously mentioned, for moving my admission to a certificate program.
It is imperative that you take immediate action on these issues, and I genuinely hope that things can be resolved amicably.
