PetsWorld.in – Not Refunding My Money For A Cancelled Order

I placed an order for 7kg Whiskas Dry Cat Food on Feb 19, 2022. The order was not being readily delivered so I cancelled it on Feb 21, 2022. I emailed Whiskas, PetsWorld India, and also spoke to the Customer Care Team of PetsWorld India to do the same.

I did not even get a revert on confirmation for cancellation of my order. The next day I called them again to receive a confirmation of the same via email. They asked me to send the email again to another email ID and I did that.

They said they would be sending me a confirmation but it took them 2 whole days to send me a mere confirmation for cancellation, and that too after calling them again and again! Received this on Feb 24, 2022.

It stated
Dear Surbhi,
Thank you for your time given on telecon today!! Kindly note that with regards to your request, the item ordered by you is in-transit at the time of your cancellation query thus we were not able to immediately process the same.

Please allow us 2-3 working days to log the parcel refused by you and a process a complete refund for the same.

The information mentioned in this email is wrong. The parcel was not ‘refused’, it was ‘cancelled’. On Feb 25, 2022, this is what I receive from the partner courier company who was supposed to deliver the order.

I don’t know which complaint number they were referring to. I emailed them asking them why was a cancelled order delivered to me, and obviously got no revert.
I tried calling a number 50 times, which I suppose was one of Spot On employee’s called Tanya, and got no revert or call back.

The delivery boy kept the parcel at my society’s main gate with the guard, without taking my signature or confirming the order was received by me. Later they mentioned in their records that they had a telephonic conversation with me, while it never happened.

A day or two later, I was told by my guard that there was something lying in the guard room and it belonged to me. A day after placing the order I also tried calling Spot On by looking their contact number up on Google.

But found nothing and on asking PetsWorld about a contact number, I was told that they couldn’t share it. The Toll-free number mentioned on Google was not reachable.

The order is fully paid, was worth Rs.1,805. I have called PetsWorld so many times and they only keep telling me that the job would be done by tomorrow, and it never happens.

I haven’t seen such unprofessional people. I am very disturbed by their services and the way they have restrained my money. I keep asking them to pick up the package and they never do.

They want me to coordinate with the spot on delivery guy and I don’t understand why! I have told them that I sleep during the day and work in the night and am not available to do all the coordination in daytime.

I never received the order, why am I responsible for its pick up? This is not even a return where, I understand, it would have been my job to make sure it reached the company back!!

These guys just extorted the money out and now are passing time. I don’t think they genuinely are planning to refund anything. I need a resolution before I go mad. I feel so helpless!!!
