Respected sir, I purchased an Air conditioning unit from your Reliance Digital unit at Avani Mall on 04/08/2016. I was facing some cooling issues since the past one week or more. For the same I complained at your customer care as a result of which a technician from your end visited my outlet to check the unit. He informed that the motor is out of order and that my machinery being under warranty period I’ll get a replacement for the same. After a few minutes he concluded that the wire has been cut by a rat and that all expenditures have to be borne by me. When I questioned him about how shall a rat enter my unit inside my workplace, he referred to a hole in D exterior of the unit from where the pipe is connected. He gave to me in writing that the hole Ws left uncovered while instalation of unit must have been done. I have a voice recording of your employee wherein he admitted that due to the fault of ur technician who installed my unit enough space was left behind for a rat to enter. I would want to ask you tht due to the mistake of your technician why shall I bear the expenses for any faults that have happened? Also that he assumes that the wire has been cut by a rat. It can be proven by no means. I would like to bring to your notice that during installation ur technician had billed me for Rs. 610 as expenses for materials required during installation. I have the original copy of the same. If he charged me for all the materials it was his responsibility to make necessary coverage from where he had made passage for the pipeline of the unit. When I visited your Reliance Digital store two days ago, your employee quoted me Rs. 3500 as an expenditure to repair the faults that have occurred in the machine. I do not think that it is justified that I should be asked to pay for it if a fault by your technician has resulted to such complications. My unit being at my cafeteria and in an unworking condition is affecting my daily business. I request you to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Else I will have to approach the consumer forum for the same.
