Gaurav Verma (contact no. 7050278911, email id: [email protected]) from Royal Global Service reached out to me on 3rd March 2022 for an interview with UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd for the post of “Senior Project Manager”. After I showed interest in the said position, he organized a telephonic interview call on 5th March 2022 followed by 2nd round on skype on 10th March 2022. For getting the education and employment certificates validated through Govt. of India (MEA, MCA) by and cheated me with Rs 8100 for issuing Indian Embassy Verification certificate. Post 2 rounds of interview calls, an offer letter was issue from the company UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd with benefits like
1. Visa for family
2. Accommodation for family (Maximum 4 family members are allowed)
3. Air ticket for Family (You need to submit passport copies of all members)
4. Leaves (Total 40 leaves are allowed in 1 year. You can Visit India 2 times in 1 Year on company expenses but if you visit more than 2 times then expenses will be given by your pocket)
5. Car with driver for transportation facility.
6. Medical facility
7. Health Insurance
8. Schooling for kids (expenses given by company)
9. One time food (Only for you and that will be lunch)
Subsequently, they forced me to accept the offer letter within 5 hours and asked for refundable security deposit of Rs 28500. When I went through the offer letter, it was mentioned to revert back in 1 day but the company was insisting to confirm within 5 hours. Also he insisted me to pay half amount at least asap. These confirmed me about fakeness of the offer. Also no such company forces anyone to confirm in 5 hours.
Kindly take necessary action and help in recovering the amount paid. Also it is important to file a legal action and punish for the fake offer letters and to prevent others from falling prey to such illegal acts in future and playing with resources emotions.
