The hospital staff misleads you into higher costing packages for health tests . I had asked for a well women health package as per their website but the staff calls me and says the packages are no longer available and asked me to opt for a more expensive package (50% higher) with lesser tests than what I needed and said home collection will be done. I needed to get an x-ray and ecg done and for that they said I will need to pay extra (this was actually included in the cheaper package). So effectively the staff tried to convince me to pay 2.5-3 times of the package cost by claiming the package isn’t there. When I called again 2 days later another staff confirmed that the packages are very much active and then when I told him what has happened he simply tried to cover for his colleague and again tried to ask me to pay more for the other tests and offered a “doctor consultation for free”.
If they are doing this for small amounts, I can only imagine what they are doing for bigger amounts.
