I visited Sharda Hospital, Greater Noida for Executive Health Check- up for me and my wife. I am extremely sorry to state that I have never seen such kind of poor customer services & after paying a hell lot of money, I opt two packages- 1) Extended well women Health Check Up – Rs 5200/- for my wife 2) Advance Executive Health Checkup – Rs 3800/- for me on 23 July’2016. The reason of choosing Sharda Hospital that I believed that Sharda Hospital is well known and biggest hospital in Greater Noida and I was sure that most health check facilities are their with trained staff.
First when I enquire about the Health Check up packages at counter they gave me a details of Packages containing 7-8 pages. I have selected 2 of them and paid Rs 9000/- on counter, There was no co-ordinator the billing clerk sent us for fasting blood sample. During sample collection I check the details provided on health checkup. After blood sample at 6th floor the leady told us to visit at first floor for RH factor and Blood. It was surprising because she has already collected blood sample. Finally I told her that I don’t need this test. I again visited at counter and inquire if there is any provision for breakfast after fasting tests, He rudely told there is no such provision, who told you ?It looks like …….cant explain in words, when I shown him the provision of breakfast written on their package. He enquire from some other department and after 10-15 minutes one person come with 2 slices of sandwich. As I have to go for Ultrasound, I ask the leady who was lab incharge should I take my breakfast before Ultrasound, she told It is OK, you can take the breakfast. Not satisfied with her answer because ultrasound needs empty stomach I again enquire with her it is OK, she told yes it is OK I always used to advise patients on same pattern.
It was surprising for me the behavior and knowledge of the direct dealing staff with customers/patients. In our country, hospitals are not less than a temple and doctors and supporting staff are treated as God. I was sure that such kind of staff can do any kind of mistake even they can easily change my sample with other one. Based on this kind of poor experience I decided to not to go for another test and just quit from this hospital. I told at counter to refund my money and I am no more interested to use your services. After many discussion they was ready to refund Rs 6000/- out of Rs 9000/- which I have paid. I told them I want to discuss this issue with their top management. After many discussion one administrative staff Mr Dogra introduced me with Dr V.K.Gupta, Professor and Head of Department Pediatric. I explained him my experience. Dr Gupta personally say sorry for the mistake of hospital stff and assured that money is not a issue you just use our services we will refund your money whatever you want. Although I was not interested to use their services but keeping the words of an experienced and respected professor I decided to go ahead with tests.
There are many other things I suffered here like :
1. 25% parts of reports was not visible, it was overlapping with letter head, When I shown it to sr staff, He told we cant do anything on it.
2. Test shown in bill was less then offered in package but charged for full package like Eye & ENT Screening and History & Physical Examination by MBBS was not in bill hence not done, when asked with staff they started to give false explanations .
3.. Inefficient and incompetent majority of the doctors I consulted. As written on package Final Report Assessment by MD Medicine / Cardiologist When visited to so called MD, he even not told me to sit even dont look properly to the reports and told you are OK, no problem with you, My thyroid was 5.53 and I told him that I am facing many kind of problems but he just ignored it and told there is no problem with your report and your thyroid is at border line. Doctor treated as same as government officials and instead of doctor paying respect to his patients the reverse is expected ! The more surprising the ultrasound report of my wife shown by the same Doctor he told there is no problem(I understand he may not aware about the gyne problem but he must say it is better to consult with Gyne Docter) but when I show it to outside doctor she told me that you have to go for biopsy.
4. The attitude of the management staff is super impolite, rude and not all encouraging. When I asked with Mr Dogra about the promise of wave off /discount by Dr V.K Gupta, He told he can’t do anything on it.
5. On second day I called Mr Dogra to provide the contact no. of Dr V.K. Gupta, he told I don’t have I have to get it from some other source and let you know. I am still waiting for his reply.
Needless to say more this if just a example, I have too much more to comment………………this is total wastage of my hard money and time. I have to do all tests with some other hospital
