I am really disappointed and now loosing faith from the Sony brand India customer service.

I have been using Sony TV’s from last 35 to 40 years and never faced any such so called “Dust Issue inside” problem. I am currently using 3 Sony TV at my place, but never faced any such dust issue in any of my TV’s or other TV’s at friends and family.

Asked Customer support team to please get there facts checked before communicating.

This complaint was registered in Aug and was attended by their service center technician on 28th August.

No revert post that, Finally I had to write few mails for Sony support team [email protected] for my complaint, to which they then replied with the solution that is provided basis on their assumptions & as per what was told to them by thier service center and other team members to which I don’t agree.

Sony team also did mentioned following statement in mail – Kindly confirm us your decision on/before 17th September 2021 as we shall keep your request open till then.

To which I replied – If you wish to close the complaint cause you cannot provide the proper resolution then let me know directly, I will then decide what needs to be done next, but you cannot close this complaint without my consent/permission post proper resolution.

It was clearly mentioned in written as well as verbally to us by Sony Tech Engineer, Head of Sony Authorized Service Centre M/S JP Electronics (Vaishali) & Service Area Manager that this is a inside dust issue and their tech team now wants open my Few months old TV and clean the dust and if not fixed then they repair/replace the Display panel. They are not even assuring that this dust issue will not come again.

As per my experience, this is a manufacturing defect which is there from the first day itself and was informed by us to your Installation engineer while installing (wall mounting) the TV, to which he replied that these are his hand marks which has come while installing the TV and will go once it is cleaned properly.

Requested Sony India team to please check each and every detail and revert to me ASAP – such as job card with the mentioned issue and my remarks, as well as my conversation with their engineer, service center team and area service manager.

Also had requested to escalate and expedite this complaint as its already more than 18 days and no proper solution provided to my satisfaction yet.
