The blood Sample for Chicunguniya test was picked up from my doorstep at 10:30am on 28th August 2016 by the Saket, New Delhi lab and I was assured the result would come by 8pm the same day. On 29th August after calling the lab more than 10 times, Im told the result will only come after 5pm on 29th August. When I asked for my refund, I am told since the Sample is under processing, a refund cannot be initiated. They actually want 36 hrs for the result when the usual time taken is 8 hrs or less by all other labs. Imagine the state of the patient suffering from high fever and eagerly awaiting Test Result to pursue treatment.
