As a senior citizen, I humbly ask for your kind and proactive cooperation in stopping the fraudulent activities of the aforementioned company. In accordance with the guidelines of my treating physician, I was admitted to the hospital for a fistulotomy procedure and gave the company 48 hours’ notice.
Following discharge on March 6, 24, all necessary paperwork was turned in on March 15.
They informed me that, based on their estimate and the supporting documentation, the claimed amount was Rs. 68576, but on April 18, 24 they only reimbursed me Rs. 33361.
They eliminated the charges for surgeons, OTs, investigations, and medications inside the hospital.
Icomplained to the company on April 20, 24, and received no response. On May 30, 24, I complained to the company’s grievance redressal officer and the Office of the Insurance Ombudsman in Kolkata, but to date, no action has been taken.
Please look into their secret policy, which they withhold from clients like us, and kindly take proactive measures to help me obtain my legal claim.
